As Salaam ‘Alaykum: We thank Allāh, we seek His help, we ask for His forgiveness, we believe and put our complete trust in Him, Mighty and Sublime is He. We witness that there is no deity except Allāh, He alone is without partners, and we witness that Muhammed is His Servant and Messenger, the prayers and peace be on him, on his descendants, his companions, and peace be on Allāh’s Messengers (all of them), and what follows of this traditional salutation.

Sūrah, 95:4, Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) revealed in Qur’ānic prayer language:

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَاالْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيم

Revelation about the past applied to the present helps us to make projections about man’s future based on diagnosis of certain personality patterns. We are blessed with a complete body of knowledge that we can trust in to make comparisons of personality profiles and diagnose intervention strategies based on identifying key indicators observed in cases that have been preserved in scriptural language to give us insights about how people are affected by various life events.

Today’s contemporary mental health professionals have designed a Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders that is considered the ‘bible’ for any professional working to attain an understanding and possible treatment for people with mental illness. Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) revealed in Qur’ānic prayer language the perfect way to cultivate thinking for developing logical reasoning of observable dysfunctional behavior in history that we should use to offer spiritual advice gained from learning how Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) designed the human pattern.

Sūrah, 114, Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) revealed in Qur’ānic prayer language:

الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ

الْخَنَّاسِ | Al-khan-nās | ‘the sneak’ is a descriptive word used to name the Devil who يُوَسْوِسُ | yu-was-wi-su | whispers evil suggestions in صُدُورِ النَّاسِ | su-dū-rin-nās | in the hearts of people. ‘A’isha (ﻋﻨﻬﺎ ﺮﻀﻲ) narrated that the Messenger of Allāh (ﺼﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻮ ﺴﻠﻢ) would recite Qur’ānic prayer language: قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ and قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ for intervention and guidance from harm brought on by people with devilish intentions; and he recited the same when retiring to sleep and upon waking up.

Sūrah, 95:5, Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) revealed in Qur’ānic prayer language:

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ

We learned that our creation is spoken of as the best pattern and then we learn that:رَدَدْنَاهُ | ra-dad-nā-hu | We returned him to the lowest of those who are the lowest. Also, we learn that in the root of this word (رَدَدْ) we find: ﺮدّﺓ | rid-dah | defined as apostasy/desertion ( ﺍﻻﺴﻼﻢ ﻋﻥ | from al-Is-lām). We are created as Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) revealed in Qur’ānic prayer language: وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ; and in a blink of an eye we embrace the sneaky devil, who whisper evil suggestions in disobedience to Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى); taking pleasure in sodomy (down low), oral intercourse and bestiality; saying:وَإِنَّكَ لَتَعْلَمُ مَا نُرِيدُ a way of life condemned by Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى).

Sūrah, 2:5, Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) revealed in Qur’ānic prayer language:

فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ ﷲُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

In their hearts is مَّرَضٌ | ma-ra-dun | a disease فَزَادَهُمُ ﷲ | fa-zā-da-hu-mul-lāh | then Allāh increases their disease. With this truth in mind, we have constructed evidence to make our point that Qur’ānic prayer language is a complete resource guide that we can rely on to examine personality patterns and conduct a diagnosis based on identifying key indicators observed in specific cases that have been preserved in scriptural language to give us insights about people who remind us of snakes, rats, dogs, monkeys, swines, lions, maggots, etc.

Sūrah, 12:53, Allāh (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) revealed in Qur’ānic prayer language:

النَّفْسَ لأَمَّارَةٌ بِالسُّوءِ

An-naf-sal-la-am-mā-ra-tum-bis-sū-i | the strong commanding spirit in self that is prone to do bad is another personality pattern in scripture that speaks about nymph-like behavior and the term ‘nymphomania’ created by modern psychology referring to a “desire to engage in human sexual behavior” at a level high enough to be considered clinically significant, and “nymphomaniac” is the term used to describe the person experiencing this hyper-sexual disorder. This is not an exhaustive conclusion of scriptural personality profiles diagnosis; we only mentioned a few references to demonstrate that the Noble Qur’ān is أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ | um-mul-ki-tāb | the mother book that gives life to a new generation of thinkers, researchers and writers.
